Purpose and Function

The Patriot Vetting Committee (PVC) is established to provide support to local patriot groups in their vetting of candidates for elected office. This support aims to help unify and coordinate these efforts, to identify candidates who most clearly uphold and defend the United States Constitution, and its underlying principles and commitment to preserve and protect individual liberty, as set forth and amplified in the United States Declaration of Independence.

The PVC aims to conduct its activities in harmony with local patriot groups that share these principles and commitment, such as by promoting a stable monetary system, limited and efficient government spending, budget, and tax policies and practices, a healthy free-market economy and a fair and impartial judicial system for all.

Criteria and Guidelines:
  1. The PVC will function by consensus decision-making, and promote this same policy and practice among all local patriot groups involved in vetting candidates in their particular jurisdictions. For these purposes, consensus means substantial agreement with no
    significant opposition.
  2. The PVC shall invite local patriot groups, such as those associated with Tea Party Patriots (TPP) and 9.12 Project, to affiliate and receive free access to all pertinent PVC vetting forms, support services, and procedures.
  3. The PVC will establish and maintain an accurate and complete contact list of all affiliated patriot groups in each state. It will seek to develop and expand this list by actively searching to find and invite all interested groups that might share the committee’s basic
    purpose and commitment.
  4. The PVC will record and publish all vetting decisions made through consensus by affiliated local groups in each state.
  5. The PVC will provide all affiliated groups in each state with a list of contact data of all such groups, to promote effective and secure communication and consensus decisionmaking between them in the vetting process.
  6. The PVC will provide all affiliated groups in each state with a list of contact data of all such groups, to promote effective and secure communication and consensus decision making between them in the vetting process.
